Snow Sculpting

A combination of artistic expression, team work, competition, and travel

Where We Work

We travel to the coldest and snowiest parts of the world.

We typically compete in international competitions hosted in popular travel locations.

Snow sculptures are large and eye catching. They draw the eye and encourage spectating. They are perfect for festivals, winter sporting events, and resort towns.

How They're Built

We start by packing loose snow into large wooden forms.

The snow freezes overnight into a solid block that is hard as ice.

We use a chisels, saws, rasps, and a variety of homemade tools to shape the sculpture.

Then we add the final touches. Unlike ice, the snow is opaque and it can better reveal details and textures.

About Me

I began snow sculpting while attending Michigan Tech University during their annual Winter Carnival. I earned my degree in engineering. However, while at school I became obsessed with building things with snow and dove into art classes. After school, I began competing in local snow sculpting competitions and started moving up to international events.

I love the challenge of investing time and energy into building intricate sculptures that are, by their nature, impermanent.

I am available to sculpt for special events, activation spaces, festivals, and competitions.
